Venturing Out into Pohnpei

ohnpei has no lack of interesting things to do and exciting places to see.  This site provides twenty-four 'Venturing Out' profiles, complete with maps, directions, photographs and lots of information about various activities and locations around Pohnpei State, including:

KEEP IN MIND...
  • Neat, well-marked hiking trails are rare (a guide may be necessary).
  • Signs marking locations are uncommon.
  • There are no street names or physical addresses outside Kolonia.
  • Locals may not be familiar with outsider nicknames for locations, so it may be necessary to learn the Pohnpeian name of the place you're looking for.
